  • 4/12 Volunteers Needed: Husky Road Dogs

    Volunteers Needed for April 12th Middletown Half Marathon!

    UConn Recreation is excited to have 100 students, faculty, staff and community members participating on this year's Husky Road Dogs 1/2 Marathon Training Team.  Come volunteer on race day in Middletown while chearing on the Road Dogs and showing your UConn pride!  Students, Staff, Faculty, Alumni, & Community are all welcome as volunteers.  You must be 18 or older to participate.   Departure from Storrs Campus is 9:00am with an anticipated return around 4:30pm.

    What does a volunteer do?  Duties range from on-course assistance at road crossings and intersections; water and refueling stations; and helping at the start/finish area.  Assignments will be determined by the Hartford Marathon Foundation.  Volunteer Benefits include a shirt, Husky Road Dogs water bottle, food and beverage there, and more including an invitation to the Husky Road Dogs post-race celebration.
