  • Major New NIH Grant for Study of Liver Disease

    Congratulations to Dr. Li Wang, Associate Professor, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Department of Physiology & Neurobiology.  Dr. Wang has been awarded a $ 1.7M R01 grant from the NIH National Institute of Diabetes & Digestive & Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) to study how long non-coding RNA H19 regulates liver function and cholestatic liver fibrosis. This award supports Dr. Wang’s long-term research interests to understand the molecular basis underlying the development of chronic liver diseases.
