As of February, 2015 Lynda.com is a new pilot program offered by UConn Human Resources for on-line learning and professional development.
What is lynda.com? It is a leading education provider whose online training library includes more than 116,005 videos in 2,550+ courses, with new titles added every week:
- Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Adobe Creative Suite, video editing, documentaries computer programming, web design, database design and more
- Business skills such as communication tips, career development, Effective Listening, Body Language, Improving your Conflict Competence, Public Speaking, Working in Teams and much more

UConn faculty and staff can access the entire lynda.com online training library anytime, anywhere - 24/7 and 365 days a year on their computer or via their mobile device through site licenses available from HR-OSD. The cost per license per year (Feb 1, 2015-Feb 1, 2016) is $350.00. A license can be per person or for a small group.
