Scholarly Colloquia and Events

  • EEB Distinguished Scholar Seminar Series

To celebrate 30 Years of Excellence in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at UConn, we are hosting 13 of the most distinguished ecologists and evolutionary biologists in the world for weekly seminars in spring semester 2015. These lectures are open to the public—please join us if you can!

UConn EEB comprises a group of world-class researchers at the Storrs and Regional campuses dedicated to discovering, understanding and protecting biodiversity. We explore critical questions at the intersections of ecology, evolution, and conservation biology, and are interested in what maintains diverse natural ecosystems, how species evolve in response to changing environments, and how global change threatens biodiversity. (For more information about research in EEB, see our faculty and graduate student pages).
