UConn Police are offering, a Women’s self-defense/personal safety class featuring the R.A.D Systems of self defense:
This class is broken up in to 4 sessions starting on January 6th, then the 8th, 13th and ending on the 15th. Each class is 3 hours long and will begin at 5:00pm, ending around 8:00pm, with the last class being an active day of simulation where participants will be able to engage a simulated attacker under the guidance and support of our instructors. This class is being held at UConn's Hawley Armory and women wishing to attend can simply follow the provided link and complete the applicant form as class space is limted. There is no charge for this class.
