  • Women's Center October 2014 Newsletter

We are pleased to share with you our October 2014 edition of Voices, the University of Connecticut Women's Center’s newsletter.  In this edition, you’ll find profiles of our new student staff and an update from our Fall student staff/VAWPP retreat.  You'll also find updates on some of our Fall programming including Fat Talk Free Week and a campus visit by artist and activist, Kelly Tsai, as well as a request for volunteers from Lynn Santiago-Calling (Class of 1998) to help with our alumni engagement efforts.  Finally, we celebrate beginnings and endings, in our tributes to Maha Saleem, the 2014 Ella T. Grasso Leadership in Action Grant recipient, and Dr. Carol Virostek, a champion for AAUW and long-time supporter of Women’s Centers.

Please take a few minutes to read through the newsletter at http://womenscenter.uconn.edu/about/publications/newsletter/October_2014_Newsletter.pdf   Also, please feel free to pass it along to a friend or colleague.
