  • 10/9 "In our Own Voice"

Have you ever wondered what it's like to live with a mental illness?

UConn’s chapter of NAMI on Campus (the National Alliance on Mental Illness) will be hosting a presentation called “In Our Own Voice” on Thursday, October 9th from 5-7 pm in the pharmacy building, room 131.

During this time, speakers will discuss what it is like to live with a mental illness and stay in recovery. This event provides the audience with a more accurate view of what is often a stigmatized and misunderstood experience. There will also be time for questions afterwards.

We’d like to invite all interested students and faculty to come join us, in support of National Mental Illness Awareness Week.
