  • Sport Fan Study: Human Subjects Requested

    You are invited to participate in this survey of sport fan behavior. The aim of this study is to find out how team identification levels can effect fan optimism during a season.

    Your participation in this study will require completion of the linked survey. This should take approximately 5 minutes of your time. Your participation will be anonymous, but please keep in mind that there will be a follow-up survey in the winter. You will not be paid for being in this study. This survey does not involve any risk to you. However, the benefits of your participation may provide further insight into the developing field of sport fan behavior.

    The principal investigator for this project is Laura Burton, Ph.D. This study has been granted approval by the University of Connecticut Institutional Review Board under the protocol X14-147.
