In observance of the nationally recognized Postdoc Appreciation Week, The Graduate School will be hosting a series of events throughout the week of September 15-19. Postdocs and Faculty members are encouraged to paticipate!

Postdoc Interdepartmental Research Seminar Series
Presenter: Varun Vyas, Ph.D. (Institute for Material Sciences)
Title: “Depth Dependent Indentation Profiles of Live Cells and Bi0polymers”
Audience: Open to All Faculty, Postdocs and Graduate Students
This event marks the first of a monthly research seminar series featuring postdoctoral scholars. Light refreshments will be provided.
Wednesday September 17th (noon)-Whetten 200
From Postdoc to Faculty position Panel Discussion
Audience: Postdocs
This event will feature faculty members that have transitioned from a postdoc to faculty position within the last ten years. Come get your questions answered about the process!
Thursday, September 18th (4-6pm)-Faculty/Postdoc Mixer-Nathan Hale
Audience: Faculty members and Postdocs
To celebrate National Postdoc Appreciation Week, The Graduate School will host a Happy Hour for postdocs and their faculty advisors. All postdocs and their faculty advisors are invited to join us for appetizers!
