In conjunction with the Mainframe Decommissioning Project, UITS will modify the mainframe user account (CMS ID) expiration and renewal process.
UITS has begun e-mailing account owners a listing of all mainframe accounts registered to the department or individual. All accounts will be expired on 8/10/14, unless the account is used to access Genesys, Student Payroll, FRS, VM FOCUS or by exception.
The Mainframe Decommissioning Project website has been created to keep you updated on the status of the project. Please do not hesitate to contract us with any questions you may have regarding the project.
All data in expired accounts will not be available after 8/10/14. Data should be moved to another storage location. UITS has provided documentation to assist with this transfer at VM File Transfer Process.
