  • 6/24 Campus Art Walk -- with Parasols

    JOIN TODAY'S CAMPUS ART WALK!
Meet at the Benton at 12:15
    Rain or Shine

Walk and talk with a museum docent about several of the fine examples of public art on the Storrs campus, including
    • the new Jonathan Clowes sculpture installation in the Pharmacy/Biology Building,
    • Robert Cumming's wall relief mural, Plain and Painted Parts, in the Chemistry Building, and
    • Jun Kaneko's ceramic tile mural, Shift, in the Biology/Physics Building.

If the sun is excessive, we'll have parasols available. In the event of rain, the walking and talking will be inside the museum, where the focus will be on the current exhibitions of art by Rolling Stones musician Ronnie Wood and costumes and props from Hartford Stage.

THIS IS THE LAST ART WALK OF THE SUMMER, but did you know that art walks can be scheduled by appointment for a minimum of five people? Daytime, evening, and weekend tours are possible. For details, contact tracy.lawlor@uconn.edu, 860-486-1711.
