Torrington Historical Society and UCONN Torrington Campus will host a film screening and reception on Friday, June 27, 2014. Frederick Law Olmsted - Designing America, produced by Lawrence Hott, and Florentine Films (1 hr) event will begin with a meet and greet pre-screening reception with Larry Hott at 6:00 PM (tickets $50) to include wine and cheese reception with film to follow at 7:00 PM. The evening's event will end with a Q&A and color booklet about Olmsted. Film only option is $20.
