  • 6/14 Saturday Story Hour @ The Benton

BRING THE KIDS TO SATURDAY SPOTLIGHT STORY HOUR
    June 14th from 3 - 4 o'clock

This ongoing Summer Saturday Series introduces picture books related to theatre productions in the museum's exhibition of costumes, sets, and props in "Stagecraft: 50 Years of Design at Hartford Stage."

"What Do You Say, Dear?" by Sesyle Joslin and Maurice Sendak is in the spotlight this week.

This wildly funny book of manners suggests what to say when you bump into a crocodile on a crowded city street OR when a nice gentleman introduces you to a baby elephant OR the Queen feeds you so much spaghetti that you don't fit in your chair anymore.

An art activity will follow the reading of the book. The program is free and lots of fun!
