Research, Funding, and Awards

  • Funding Opportunity - Searle Scholars Program

The Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR) plays a central role in the continuing success and development of the faculty’s research, scholarship, and creative endeavors through its leadership and support services in Research Administration and Research Development.  To this end, the OVPR will be conducting an internal screening process in support of the Searle Scholars Program.

    Searle Scholars Program

The Searle Scholars Program supports research of outstanding individuals in the biomedical sciences and chemistry who have recently begun their appointment at the assistant professor level, and whose appointment is their first tenure-track position.  Grants are $300,000 for a three-year term with $100,000 payable each year of the grant, subject to the receipt of acceptable progress reports.
