  • Women's Center May 2014 Newsletter

We are pleased to share with you our May 2014 edition of Voices, the University of Connecticut Women's Center’s newsletter.  In this edition, you’ll find goodbyes from our graduating staff and their reflections on their experiences at the Women's Center.  You'll also find updates on some of our Spring programming including the panel on women in STEM during Admitted Students Open House and Sexual Assault Awareness Month activities.   Also, several students and staff share with you their thoughts about their affiliations with the Center, which include our Advisory Board, the Men’s Project, and VAWPP.  Finally, our Newsletter Editor shares commentary from student interviews about the Task Force Report on Civility and Campus Culture, inviting us all to engage critically with issues of sexual violence in our communities.

Please take a few minutes to read through the newsletter at http://womenscenter.uconn.edu/about/publications/newsletter/May_2014_Newsletter.pdf   Also, please feel free to pass it along to a friend or colleague.
