From The Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station, Katherine Dugas and Campus Abrorist, John Kehoe, will present and train on the Beetle Blitz of the invasive Emerald Ash Borer and Asian Longhorned Beetle heading towards Storrs, CT. The blitz would involve beetle and tree ID and survey training (visual, so binocs and DBH measurements), and a field trip/tree walk. Meet in the EcoHouse classroom (018 Sprague Hall) on Thursday, May 1st 6-7 pm.
