Would you be interested in watching game movies* in French? If yes, join us on Tuesday 4/29 in HBL Video Theater 2!

The festival includes a series of two events, during which French and Francophone game movies will be introduced and screened. Visiting Assistant Professor Emmanuel Buzay, of the Department of LCL, who currently uses video games in his teaching and research, will begin each session by introducing a particular video game. Then a game movie based on the video game will be screened. Participants will be invited to join in a discussion both during and after the screening.

Following each session, students will be invited to post their reactions to the game movie on the festival's blog. Those who participate in this response will be entered into a drawing to win one of two copies of the game from which the game movie has been made, and which itself was presented during the session; one of the copies will be a PSP3 version of the game, the other an Xbox 360 version of the game.

(*a game movie = a film made from the walkthrough of a video game, edited by a game-player)
