  • 5/22 Farm Fresh Market Opening Soon on Fairfield Way

    Dining Services Farm Fresh Market will be opening on Thursday, May 22nd for its 3rd consecutive season. From 11:00am - 1:30pm, student staff from our own Spring Valley Student Farm will be on hand, selling you their fresh produce, straight from the gardens to you! Other locally grown produce and CT made products will also be available to purchase including Hosmer sodas, UConn honey, and delicious baked goods from Dining Services "Not Just Desserts" bakery. For this opening event, Eric, our bakery manager, will present a special treat, offering free samples of his Summer Raspberry and Lemon Curd Tart.

    The Farm Fresh Market will be held each Thursday through September or October, rain or shine, on Fairfield Way near the Student Union. As the growing season progresses, each week promises more and more of the fresh fruits and veggies you love. Stop by as you walk to class or take a lunch break and pick up something fresh, healthy and good for you. (The Market is cash only.)
