On Wednesday, April 16 at 1PM, representatives from USDA-Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) will present “USDA-APHIS: Overview of Biosecurity and Permitting Process” in TLS 111.
All current permit holders and anyone who may be applying for a new or renewal permit are encouraged to attend. Eric Chamberlain will present information for the Plant Protection and Quarantine materials: Plants, Plant Pests and Soils. Dr. Lech Szkudlarek will present informatin for Veterinary Services materials: Animals, Animal products and Animal pathogens.
USDA-APHIS issues permits for import, transit and release of regulated animals, animal products, veterinary biologics, plants, plant products, pests, organisms, soil and genetically engineered organisms.
