    The Graduate School Professional Development Event:

    STEM Predoctoral Fellowship Workshop

     

    Thursday, April 3rd from 4-6 pm

    Whetten Graduate Center

    2nd Floor, Room 200

     

    The Office of National Scholarships and Fellowships and The Graduate school invite first year graduate students to attend a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Predoctoral Fellowship workshop on Thursday, April 3rd, at 4pm in Whetten 200.

    The focus of this workshop is on applying to and winning prestigious fellowships such as the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship program (http://www.nsfgrfp.org/), the National Defense Science and Engineering Fellowship (http://ndseg.asee.org/), Hertz Foundation Physical, Biological and Engineering Sciences Fellowship (http://www.hertzfoundation.org/).

    The workshops will help students understand the application components; will provide tips on how to best address NSF selection criteria of “intellectual merit” and “broader impacts.”
