Unclaimed Space: The 2014 Master of Fine Arts Exhibition
April 5 – May 11 at The Benton
The William Benton Museum of Art is pleased to present Unclaimed Space: The 2014 Master of Fine Arts Exhibition from Saturday, April 5th through May 11th.
The M.F.A. program at UConn is a very selective two-year graduate program that is currently comprised of five studio artists who will be showing their work:
Micah Cash
Julia DePinto
Jared Holt
Shane Morrissey
Reagen Elizabeth O’Reigaeken.
The M.F.A. degree requirements include writing a project thesis paper as well as staging their own exhibition and giving a public talk, which the artists will do at the Benton on Tuesday, April 22, beginning at 1 pm. The public is invited to their talks and a reception that follows from 4:30 - 7 pm.
The exhibition will move from the Benton to the Sideshow Gallery, 319 Bedford Avenue, Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York where it be on view from May 17 through June 7, 2014.
