UITS recently removed the password aging configuration on the University of Connecticut voice mail system. This system historically enforced password resets every six months and caused confusion and inconvenience for our customers in return for very little value. Passwords on the system will now simply persist and will not be required to be changed periodically by default. Customers may still use the voice mail system to change their password at any time.
