The Center for Quantitative Medicine at the UConn Health Center in Farmington is offering a bioinformatics short course for university, hospital, and industry clinical and translational researchers, educators, and clinicians interested in bioinformatics tools and data analysis methodologies specific to gene expression microarrays, e.g. Affymetrix® or Illumina® platforms. The one-day workshop will include a combination of lectures and hands-on computer activities using R and Bioconductor open source software environments for data analysis. Space is limited to 19 participants on a first-come, first-served basis! There is just one more week left to take advantage of the early bird rate and save $75. No joking, this deal ends on April 1st so payment must be received in full by then.
