  • 4/14 Translation Studies Grad Wrkshp, Peter Constantine

    Peter Constantine, one of the foremost translators working in the United States today, will conduct a workshop in translation studies for graduate students on Monday, April 14th from 2 to 4 PM (Oak Hall 236).


    Mr. Constantine has translated works ranging from Sophocles' Oedipus Cycle and Machiavelli's major works to Voltaire's Candide and works of Thomas Mann and Anton Chekhov. He has garnered the top prizes and honors in translation, and is a Fellow at Columbia University.  For more information and to RSVP, please contact Sarah Winter (sarah.winter@uconn.edu).
