Tuesday, March 11th at 7:30pm, UConn Choirs hosts the University College Dublin UCD Choral Scholars from Ireland for a concert at the beautiful St. Joseph Church at 99 Jackson St. in Willimantic, CT. The concert will include performances by the UCD Choral Scholars, UConn Concert Choir, and UConn Chamber Singers as well as the choirs combined. Music will include music by Marenzio, Gjielo, Gabrielli, Schütz, Bill Whelan, Moses Hogan, Rachmaninoff, traditional Irish music and more. The Choral Scholars made a Youtube hit last year with director Desmond Earley's arrangement of The Parting Glass which has nearly 200,000 views.
