Diana Taylor, founding director of the Hemispheric Institute of Performance and Politics and Professor at New York University, will be the 2014 Ezyaguirre Lecturer. Her talk is entitlted "Performing the Thing: Teatro Vertigim's Bom Retiro."
As a major contributor to the area of Performance Studies in the Americas, her work focuses on Latin American and U.S. theatre and performance, performance and politics, feminist theatre and performance in the Americas, Hemispheric studies, and trauma studies.
