Tomorrow night (Thursday, March 6th) at 8pm in von der Mehden Recital Hall is the Department of Music's annual Concerto/Aria Competition Winners concert.
The performance will be feature three outstanding graduate students from the Department:
Meghan Ryan, mezzo soprano
Spencer Hamlin, tenor
Hyun-Ju Jang, piano
These very talented students will perform with the UCONN Symphony the music of Handel, Mozart, Grieg, and Rossini.
Additionally, the orchestra will be featured on its own performing the works of Wagner, Kramer and UCONN's own professor of composition Dr. Kenneth Fuchs.
This is event is free for students, faculty, staff and children with ID and $10 for general admission. von der Mehden Recital Hall is located at 875 Coventry Road, Storrs, Connecticut, across from Mirror Lake.
