This afternoon, designed for graduate students who are headed out into the world's somewhat dismal job market, offers a panel of six geography faculty members from various colleges and universities in the area—all of which have a different structure, focus, or programs than we see at UConn—who will address students’ questions. The following panelists will share their insights and experiences regarding finding and securing geography teaching and research positions:
- Dr. Valerie Wilson, Manchester Community College
- Dr. Cindy Pope, Central Connecticut State University
- Dr. Deborah Martin, Clark University
- Dr. Mark Motte, Rhode Island College
- Dr. Rachel Franklin, Brown University
- Dr. Robert S. Bristow, Westfield State University
