Commodity Reassignments
As part of our commitment to the highest level of customer service, Procurement Services is excited to announce the reassignment of commodities. This reassignment will allow us to better align the strengths and industry knowledge of our Purchasing Agent professionals, increase efficiencies and provide added value in support of the University’s missions. These changes will become effective March 1st, 2014.
On March 1st, a complete list of industry groupings and respective Commodity Codes will be available. Please visit the Purchasing Department at: http://www.purchasing.uconn.edu, and click on Commodities. Please contact the appropriate Purchasing Agent for support and guidance as needed.
HuskyBuy System Enhancement
Additionally, on March 1st, 2014, HuskyBuy will have a new look to enhance customer experiences. A training guide is available for your reference at http://www.purchasing.uconn.edu/huskybuy/HuskyBuy_Phoenix_Interface_Guide_2.7.14.pdf .
End users have the ability to enable the new interface prior to the March 1st go-live date. These instructions are included in the training guide. Please contact the HuskyBuy Help Desk for assistance with this change at (860) 486-2BUY (2289).
