Write Winning Grants
March 21, 2014
8:00 – 5:00
Oak Hall, Room 101
Partnering with schools and colleges, the Vice President for Research is sponsoring a one-day grant writing seminar to be conducted by Grants Writers’ Seminars and Workshops, LLC. The seminar will focus on key principles and the fundamentals of successful grantsmanship with a specific emphasis on applying to federal agencies such as NIH, NSF, and USDA. This seminar will benefit both new and established faculty who have not previously applied (or unsuccessfully applied) for federal funding. As more funded projects include interdisciplinary and applied components, the seminar may also benefit faculty whose research falls within disciplines traditionally not funded by federal agencies such as social science, humanities, public policy, social welfare, and community-based research. Faculty interested in attending the seminar must obtain approval from the Dean of their respective school or college prior to registering.
