  • 7/23 PDF Accessibility Workshop

PDFs are a useful tool and often used to share information with students and colleagues. If we’re not careful, however, we can unintentionally exclude members of our community by creating inaccessible PDFs.  Inaccessibility affects many users, from users who are blind, to users who only use a keyboard to navigate, to users who are elderly or English Language Learners.

Learn how to create accessible PDFs from scratch and how to remediate inaccessible PDFs.  Using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, you can easily create and correct PDFs for maximum accessibility.  Reach more viewers with accessible content!

    Creating accessible PDFs has advantages:

    • Students can easily highlight text
    • Users with disabilities will be able to view your PDF
    • Screen reader compatibility reaches auditory learners
