  • 6/23 Tuesday: Traffic Impacts - E.O. Smith Grad Parade

Bolton Road on the UConn Storrs campus will be closed temporarily Tuesday morning and access to certain parking lots will be restricted as the E.O. Smith High Class of 2020 graduation procession moves through a portion of campus.

Bolton Road will be closed from about 9:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Tuesday for the parade, which runs from 10 a.m. to noon.

People on the south end of the UConn Storrs campus can expect to see an uptick in traffic as the graduates arrive in staggered schedules on Tuesday morning.

Vehicles in the procession will start at Y/Z lots and continue on Bolton Road, then into E.O. Smith's property. Those parking lots and a portion of "S Lot" will be used for the staging of graduates and staff assisting with the event, and UConn Police and State Police personnel will manage traffic. Signs also will be posted to help guide drivers.
