Preparing for Distance Education (online short-course for faculty)
May 29 – June 4, 2020 and June 5 – June 11, 2020

This one week online short-course is designed for faculty who are planning ahead to teach in Distance Learning mode in Fall 2020. It will introduce participants to best practices in online teaching and learning and the resources available to them. It provides an opportunity to experience the HuskyCT learning environment from the student perspective by using the quiz, journal, discussion, assignment and synchronous meeting (Collaborate) tools. Faculty will leave the course with an action plan to help them prepare for pivoting to distance education.
