CTP is a free environmental program that partners high school students and adult volunteers together throughout Connecticut. Teen-adult teams participate in an interactive two-day workshop where they learn to apply conservation and mapping tools in the field. They then go on to design and complete a small conservation project in their community.
Due to COVID-19, we have pushed back the dates of our workshops to July and changed to a virtual format. A virtual format means that our workshops cannot include all of the content and hands-on experiences that we typically provide. However, participants will still receive training from expert UConn instructors on how to apply tools and technology to address local environmental issues.
