  • 5/1 CLAS Women's Leadership Collective

Women are flourishing in higher education; however, they face unique challenges as they enter the workforce and seek to advance in leadership positions. The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS) is leveraging the power of women by launching the CLAS Women’s Leadership Collective. The program will provide undergraduate students with a unique leadership learning experience coupled with group mentorship from UConn alumnae.

The selected student leaders will be engaged in a full-day learning experience in fall 2020, featuring alumni speakers on key issues that affect women in the workplace and society. This experience will be coupled with group mentorship in Mentorship Circles, which connect groups of alumni and students with similar career interests. Mentorship Circles will convene periodically throughout the academic year, including at a year-end celebration.

Interested undergrate students must submit an application and receive one nomination from a UConn faculty or staff member by May 1, 2020

To nominate a student, please visit the program webpagehttps://clas.uconn.edu/womens-leadership-collective/
