  • 3/9 Phi Kappa Phi Nominations

    Phi Kappa Phi Faculty Nomination:

     

    Nominations are invited for induction of outstanding faculty into this honorary society. Nominees must be strong proponents of student learning and adhere to the society’s motto: “Let the love of learning rule humanity,” and its mission “to recognize and promote academic excellence in all fields of higher education and to engage the community of scholars in service to others.” Nominations are due by March 9th, 2020. Details may be found at https://www.onsf.uconn.edu/pkp/. Faculty inductees will be honored at the induction ceremony to be held on March 30th, 2020.

     

    Phi Kappa Phi Undergraduate Student Award Nomination:

     

    Faculty are invited to nominate outstanding undergraduate students for the Esther McCabe/Arland Meade Chapter Scholarship,which is awarded to an outstanding Phi Kappa Phi junior (current member or inductee). Selection is based on an exemplary academic record and demonstrated potential for further achievements. Nominations are due by March 9th, 2020.     Phi Kappa Phi Graduate Student Award Nomination:

     

    Faculty are invited to nominate outstanding graduate students for the  John Tanaka Graduate Student Fellowship. Selection for this $1000 award is based on an applicant’s promise of success in graduate or professional study as evidenced by academic achievement, relevant research experience, service and leadership experience on and off campus, and personal and career goals.
