Exhibit Reception: Natural Selection is Amazing!
Treehoppers are a fascinating group of insects that express the power of natural selection in a particularly vivid way. They share a unique physical structure, not seen in other animals, that manifests itself in a dizzying array of fascinating and beautiful forms.
Join members of the exhibit planning team for a reception to celebrate the opening of “Natural Selection is Amazing: Exploring the Dazzling Diversity of Treehoppers,” a new traveling exhibit developed by the State Museum of Natural History and the Jockusch Lab in the Department of Ecology & Evolutionary Biology at UConn.
The reception will be held in the Exhibit area on the Plaza Level of Babbidge Library, near the Information Desk. The UConn community is invited from 4:45-6:00pm on March 12.
Refreshments will be served.
