  • Calling All First Generation Faculty and Staff

Were you a First Generation College Student? A First Generation College Student is defined as a student whose parents do not hold a baccalaureate degree.

Each semester, hundreds of first year First Generation College Students start their higher education at UConn and would benefit from your experience. 25% of the students on the Storrs campus are first generation. First Year Programs, Learning Communities, and the Academic Achievement Center would like to collect the names of faculty and staff across campus who identify as a First Generation College Student.

As we create outreach and support initiatives we may ask you for guidance and involvement. Please click on the link and complete the short form. Thank you in advance for your interest.
