Welcome back! The Bistro on Union Street (located in the Student Union) is excited to offer some new items on the menu for the spring semester.
Our recipes feature local bounty, when available, from Connecticut and the region, all prepared by UConn’s award-winning chefs. UConn’s Spring Valley Student Farm supplies the Bistro with a variety of fresh seasonal produce.
Stop in for lunch or dinner Monday-Friday, 11am-8pm, or call for take-out! Check out some of our lunch options below.
Starters: Fried Calamari, Boneless Wings, Cheesy Cajun Chicken Dip & Tortilla Chips
Soup & Salad: Soup of the Moment, Pistachio Chicken Salad, Caesar Salad, Grilled Steak Spinach Salad, Buffalo Chicken Salad, Orange Sesame Salad
Sandwiches: Half Sandwich & Crock of Soup or Petite Salad Combo, BBQ Chicken Melt, Vegetable Panini, Roast Beef & Boursin, Salmon BLT
Burgers: Bistro Burger (Hand formed Certified Angus Beef), Quinoa Burger
Entrees: Grilled New York Strip, Sweet Potato Risotto with Moroccan Cream, Garlic Chicken Noodle Bowl, Vegetable Korma
And don't forget they have desserts, warm beignets, and beer/wine.
