Additional UConn Information

  • UPrint Program Update

    Dear UConn Storrs Community,

Over the last four and a half years UConn and UConn Health have partnered with Connecticut Business Systems, a Xerox company, to develop and implement a managed print services print strategy (UPrint) that has helped to optimize best practices for printing and copying devices for the entire system.  The strategy has proven to be most successful in terms of cost savings and improved technology for our document workflow needs.

Currently, many departments are approaching a point where their Xerox multi-function device (MFD) has reached the end of its lease term, or other existing print devices are aged and/or no longer supported from a maintenance perspective.  To that end, in support of a University-wide initiative, starting the week of January 6th, for approximately 4 weeks CBS will be conducting a walk-through/assessment of the entire UConn Storrs campus to visit departments and users who currently utilize a MFD or print device, to review what types of documents you are producing and better understand your needs. CBS will also be confirming that you have the right print output equipment in place to meet your business needs.

When the representatives from CBS stop in to your department, please give them a few minutes of your time to share your needs and allow them to ask you a few questions to better understand your critical documents and daily usage requirements. It shouldn’t take more that 5 or 10 minutes. If you require a scheduled time slot, please reach out to CBS representative Garret Ward, garret.ward@xerox.com, and UPrint program manager Dianne Nedjoika, dianne.nedjoika@uconn.edu.

We appreciate your time and efforts to make this a great assessment to help UConn Health continue to operate at the most efficient and optimized level, while utilizing the very best office technology available to us.

    Thank you.
