Please join members of the Board of Trustees and the Office of the Provost at a reception to honor the 2019 Board of Trustees Distinguished Professors on Thursday, December 5, 4:00-5:30 p.m. (formal program will begin at 4:30 p.m.) at the UConn Alumni Center, Storrs Campus.
The Distinguished Professor award is the University's highest academic honor and reserved exclusively to recognize faculty who have achieved exceptional distinction in three areas - scholarship, teaching and service - while at the University of Connecticut. Professors who have received this distinction in the year of 2019 are: Emmanouil N. Anagnostou, Civil and Environmental Engineering, School of Engineering; Michael P. Lynch, Philosophy, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences; and Cathy J. Schlund-Vials, English, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
