The UConn Program in Applied Public Health Sciences is presenting "12th Week", a break from classes that allows students, faculty, staff and community partners to come together and learn about pressing population health concerns. Presentations can be viewed in person on the UConn Health Campus or via iTV from Rowe 320.
On Tuesday, November 12th at 6:00 pm in Patterson Auditorium, Dr. Barry Levy will speak on "The Climate Crisis and Health" Dr. Levy is a physician who has served as medical epidemiologist with the CDC, professor at the UMASS Medical School, and president of the American Public Health Association.
On Thursday, November 14th at 6:00 pm in the Friends Auditorium, Dr. Tekisha Dwan Everett, Executive Director of Health Equity Solutions, Inc. will speak on "Social Justice and Health".
