I am pleased to announce that after a lengthy search, interview and selection process, Patricia (Trish) Casey has accepted the Associate Vice President of Financial Operations and Controller position and will be starting on January 17, 2020.
Trish is currently the Controller at the University of Rhode Island and has been with URI since 2002, serving as Associate Controller, Chief Accountant, and Associate Athletic Director of Business/Personnel. She also has experience in the private sector working for various companies as a VP of Finance and Administration, Director of Accounting, and Finance Manager.
Trish is a CPA, holds a BS in Accounting, and an MPA, both from URI, and is currently an adjunct professor at URI where she will finish out her semester.
We are very excited and optimistic to have her bring her skills and experience to UConn. Please extend congratulations and a warm welcome to Trish.
