Target Audience: Primary care physicians and APRN’s, medical oncologists, gynecologists, gynecological oncologists, surgical oncologists, radiologists, radiation oncologists, oncology nurses, physician assistants, clinical trials staff, and any other clinicians involved in the management and treatment of patients with cancer.
Learning Objectives: Participants will (be able to):
1. Identify common themes in cancer survivorship (i.e., fear of recurrence, fatigue, weightmanagement)
2. Describe current research supporting healthy eating, physical activity and rehabilitation for cancer survivors
3. Increase competence in applying practical strategies to empower cancer survivors to eat well, manage weight and decrease cancer related fatigue
