Christopher Dowd is Professor and Chair of the English Department at University of New Haven. He has an M.F.A. in Creative Writing (Emerson College) and an M.A. and Ph.D. in English (UConn). He is the author of The Construction of Irish Identity in American Literature (2011, Routledge) and The Irish and the Origins of American Popular Culture (2018, Routledge).
