    Volunteers Wanted for a Research Study

    Effect of Eccentric Loading on Shoulder Strength and Joint Motion: a Pilot Study

    Do have limited motion in your shoulders? The purpose of this research is to learn more about the effects of eccentric exercise on shoulder motion and strength.  

    Participants will be asked to complete a simple exercise 4 times per week for 6 weeks.

    In order to participate in this study, you need to be between the ages of 18 and 50 years old, have no shoulder pain and have at least a slight limitation in shoulder movement.

    You will learn an exercise known to improve shoulder strength.

    Participants will receive a $50 gift card for completing this study.

    Research will be conducted at Horsebarn Hill Sciences Complex Building 4, Horsebarn Hill Rd Storrs, CT 06269 and at Gampel Pavilion, 2098 Hillside Rd Storrs, CT 06269.
