  • Learn the Basics of Bleeding Control

    Life threatening bleeding results in many preventable deaths due to trauma each year. Come learn about the basics of bleeding control, from applying tourniquets to packing wounds and more at a Stop the Bleed class offered by UConn Rescue so that you can be prepared to save a life.

    Classes are approximately 1.5 hours each, and are all taught on campus in Koons Hall. All classes are FREE of charge to anyone who registers, and will provide participants with a certificate upon completion that is good for life. No medical experience is necessary, and university faculty and staff are welcome and encouraged to attend this training.
