In August, Human Resources provided an update on the new UCPEA classification system, Career Paths, to impacted employees and supervisors. As noted in that communication, Human Resources will hold informational sessions about Career Paths at the end of September. During the information sessions, Human Resources will outline the general parameters of the new classification system and employees will have the opportunity to ask questions. Employees do not have to use any accrued time to attend an informational session.
The following are the dates and times of informational sessions at the Student Union Theatre in Storrs:
- Tuesday, September 24, 2019: 11-12 pm and 1-2 pm;
- Wednesday, September 25, 2019: 11-12 pm and 1-2 pm;
- Thursday, September 26, 2019: 11-12 pm and 1-2 pm.
HR will also visit all of the regional campuses; specific dates and times of these visits will be shared soon. HR will also provide digital materials for learning about the system. More information about Career Paths is also available on the HR website.
