National Postdoc Appreciation Week 2019
National Postdoc Appreciation Week is from Monday, September 16th to Friday, September 20th. Postdoctoral scholars are encouraged to sign up and attend as many events as they wish! Deadlines for sign up are fast approaching!
Data Blitz
Monday, September 16
11AM to 1:30PM, Alumni Center
Data Blitz is a UConn-wide research competition for postdocs. Each accepted competitor presents a 5 minute “elevator pitch” of their research using a maximum of 4 slides in front of an audience of peer and graduate students. A panel of experienced faculty and staff then assesses these pitches and award cash prizes at the end of the competition. Post-event, participants will also receive collated feedback and comments to help develop their presentations in future. Register to compete or to attend!

The Center for Career Development will be providing free professional LinkedIn Portraits for post docs. Photos will be taken first come, first serve, and generally take about 3-5 minutes per person. There is no need to pre-register.
