  • Enrolling Graduate Students in Research Study

Researchers in the Sociology Department are recruiting graduate students who enrolled at UConn in 2013, 2014, or 2015 and who have held a Graduate Assistantship (Teaching, Research, or administration) at some point in their time here. The purpose of this research study is to understand the impact of the Graduate Employee Union on the operations of the university and the experiences of university employees.

Participants will be asked to participate in an interview about their experiences of working at UConn. Interviews usually take approximately 30-90 minutes, and we can meet in a location that is convenient and comfortable for you. There are no costs to participate and you will not be paid to be in this study.

You are eligible to participate if you are or were a UConn graduate student who enrolled between 2013 – 2015 and you have worked or currently work as a Graduate Assistant, Graduate Teaching Assistant, or Graduate Research Assistant.

For more information or if you are interested in participating, please contact Kathleen Ragon via email (kathleen.ragon@uconn.edu).
